The modular design of these rugged yet flexible torches allows a fast change of torch neck and cable assembly components without the TCP (Tool Centre Point) changing – thus avoiding additional programming effort.

A MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding torch, also known as a welding gun, is the handheld device used in MIG welding to introduce the filler wire, shielding gas, and welding current to the workpiece. It's a crucial component of the MIG welding process, allowing welders to control and direct the welding arc. 

For welding alloyed steels, aluminium, magnesium, copper and their alloys, grey cast iron, bronzes, nickel, silver, titanium, lead and unalloyed steels.

Welding fumes can pose a serious health risk and should be filtered out of the air immediately after they are generated, according to the recommendations of occupational safety experts. In order to ensure such filtration in industrial environments, even under unfavorable operating conditions, ABICOR BINZEL has improved the successful fume extraction torch RAB GRIP HE (high efficiency): The new RAB GRIP HE 2 has an extraction tube made of aluminum instead of the conventionally used steel. Moreover, a reduced wall thickness of the extraction nozzle on the RAB GRIP 36 HE 2 and the RAB GRIP 501 D HE 2 additionally ensures even less weight. Of course, the RAB GRIP HE 2 extraction torches guarantee good accessibility, high collection capacity and robustness. RAB GRIP HE 2 combines effective health protection with best possible working conditions and is suitable for tough industrial applications.

The welding torches of the Push-Pull Plus series, specially developed for aluminum welding requirements and the use of thin wires, makes problem-free and consistent wire feed and constant wire feed possible, even with longer cable assemblies. A powerful, sturdy pull motor with potentiometer guarantees exact speed regulation. For an optimum wire feed without frictional loss, the contact pressure of the feeding rollers can be regulated precisely and easily directly on the handle. The ergonomic handle ensures optimum, low-fatigue handling.The screw-type torch necks can be replaced quickly.They are available as either straight or 45° angled versions. The gas cooled MIG/MAG neck change welding torch system WH / WH-PP enables the complete torch neck to be replaced either manually or automatically – thanks to the innovative interface technology on the change body. This means torches of the same design can be replaced in seconds for maintenance purposes, or torches with special geometries for different welding positions can be changed as required.

Equally, the replacement of contact tip and gas nozzle and the monitoring of the TCP also take place outside the welding cell, thus increasing the availability of the system and reducing downtimes.
